Session 8 – Listening to Those Who Know
In trying to establish for ourselves a society that will teach us how to be connected properly, we are more like children, albeit wise children, who understand that they must grow up correctly and well, and therefore set up and shape an appropriate environment for themselves.
In order to do so, we will even go to the neighbors and pay them, if necessary, to help us. We will pay them to start connecting and bonding among themselves, to show that they are connected and to act it out, and to draw those who pay them into the connection game, as well. Such wise people know that if they see these good examples—even if they are actors that they have paid—they will mature well. In this way, they try to setup an environment that will pull themselves out of their situation.
If, for example, I want to be a musician but I don't really have much of a desire to study music, then I must have someone drawing me into it, convincing me that studying music is beautiful, great, special, fulfilling. So I pay a few musicians to come to my house and play, to constantly talk about music, to always be around their instruments, to compose something in my presence, and to generally impress me. Slowly, this will give me a profound impression that studying and feeling music in order to be a musician is a great thing and that the collaboration among them and the harmony in their music and between them, is a deeply profound experience, and very important. I begin to understand it so consciously, in a controlled way, and I can therefore, design and build my environment through which I develop musically.
It doesn't matter if I paid them to make me a better musician; what counts is the result. Our parents often do the same thing when raising us. For example, when we participate in cheering for a sports team, or we are on a sports team like soccer or basketball, we are impressed by all the kids playing together. Meaning, the most important thing is for us to absorb the scale of importance that this sports-minded environment (society) projects to us.
The most important thing for me is the environment. We can create this society by ourselves, but it's best if it is created for us by people who already know how to do it. There are many intelligent scientists, people who understand human development and evolution, and we just need to support them, and to listen to what they are saying. And what they are saying is what you are hearing now, that we shouldwant to build an environment around us that will affect all of us, and by which we will progress in favorable directions, in a conscious, positive, and gradual advancement. If we do this, then we will be like a ripe fruit before the suffering and troubles catch up with us and force us to grow by blows. We can run ahead in our development and progress beautifully and pleasantly, just like an egg develops quickly and nicely in an incubator.
So, we can examine all of man's development over thousands of years and understand that our current situation is not good. We can understand how we can pull ourselves out of the predicament we are in, instead of simply waiting for whatever happens. Instead of waiting, we can listen to those wise people directing us to create a better environment to develop us and bring us to the perfect development, stage by stage, pleasantly, easily, and gently.

In order to develop in a pleasant and easy way, we must listen to those wise people (like the scientists) who know how to setup environments that will influence us and give us good examples of connections between people. They are explaining to us the great benefit in arranging a good environment.
- We see that man's development over thousands of years has now reached a point where we are in a state that is not good, since we are in crisis, troubles, and sufferings.
